Backup openvix image

Can some one help as trying to do a backup of a new box setup i have done for a mate on another forum,I have done it loads before but when i try on the latest image i seem to be missing something,I go into vix and backup manager and tick on each file and then green button,It creates a file called backup but say error before finishing,I extract the file as normal to get ET 8500 but does not open and just says error.

one would ask as to where backup is going to as use internal hdd and for a strange issue it wanted the usb so removed usb while box was off and then backup went to my hdd:)

if restoring a backup only one file is ticked,a new backup is saving what is currently on box.

Are you wanting to create an image backup or a settings backup?

For image backup, use Image Manager.

For settings backup, use Backup Manager.
