New ET8500 Need Help

Hi, just got my ET8500 has 1 sat and 1 cable tuner, with openvix pre installed. set it up ran wizard, internet connection all working, only using the cable tuner, have sat tunner not connected. i have set my provider etc, but get nothing on a scan? tried this several times now and getting nowhere. the openvix screen saying please wait, remains on constantly, but i can still access the box via menu. cant figure out the problem. any help would be most welcome

yes ran through wizard, set tuner and AMB yet scan fails, says check tuner, and if i have the right freq,

Post a screenshot of your abm setup and tuner config.

i have 2 of these boxes but both are satellite tuners you could try disabling the sat tuner to not configured to see if it will scan just the cable tuner?

Hi, i got it sorted, i have both sat/cable in my house, and like a moron had my sat cable, connected to my cable tuner, :rolleyes::rolleyes::mad: could have kicked the cat if i had one. grrrr thanks for the help guys. Sorry
