Stream outside house

Hi,

I was wondering if there is any "easy" way to stream box content outside. I have box home, I know it's internal ip and my ip from isp. Would like to be able to watch the channels from office. Olympics today and in summer world cup in soccer :D If possible.

A PC with VLC or any other application you suggest, such as MPC-HC.

On your box there is a plugin called openwebif.
Take a note of the http port number.
To watch from outside your network you will need to do a couple of things.
1.Set up a vpn on your router.
2. Open your box port Number on your router.(not recommend for security reasons) but some people still do it.
Note: I hope another member will help you here. Using openwebif may only work with some settings changed on the box. Think you have to give the box a password and change some settings in the menu.
I’m unsure as I use a vpn to access from outside my network.


If you set it up correctly then you on your web browser on the device you want to watch on, type in the box ip followed by your http port using the symbol : to separate them.
Once logged on you will see all your bouquets and channels.
