Vu Solo needs reset when I change source

I have a Vu solo 2, purchased from here.

I only have it set up for free sat, but if I change the TV source, say for example to watch my Fire TV Stick, when I change the source back to the Vu Solo all I get is white noise and a static screen, I have to physically turn off the box using the switch at the back to get it to work again.

Is there a setting I need to change somewhere to get the box to work whenever I change the TV source?

Try a different hdmi lead. Looks like a handshake problem when switching over. Could be a faulty lead.
