BOX wont boot

Hello

i've just tried to install the ToDo image on the box and wouldn't boot, so i gave up after trying to flash it twice.

so i've now tried with the VIX 1.3 and now getting the same thing, the image seems to install properly then when i try to boot i get "starting" as per norm, then "VU+ Duo" on the LCD and there it just sits it goes no further.

i did have BH 1.4.3b on it before but dont think taht would cause a problem:rolleyes:

any help please.

best to unplug everything from the back then unplug the hard drive

then try re-flashing from the front usb socket

Nope nothing

image seemed to install ok, "starting" came up with red light flashing then "vu+duo" normal brightness then that dimmed and now it just sits there again, doing nothing.

Did you disconnect the HDD?

try leaving it unplugged for 10min then try installing a original image from vu

it turned out to be the usb pen in the back, must have got corrupted, removed it and thank god and you it booted.

i've now formated the pen to ext3 and all is working ok, only now gone back to VIX 1.3
