Hi did the mutant come with a twin dvb-s2 tuner for a single slot?

No...... you have to use the 2 slots and install either dvb-s2 or s2X.
Having said that, its a really excellent 4K Arm receiver with all the facilities (Kodi, Stalker, HbbTV (at least on some images))....... probably the best of the non FBC tuner receivers.
If you need more perhaps a usb tuner?
