Hi. I have had my et-8500 for a while. My old SAT-TV-supplier didn't offer HD-channels, but my new does.
However a can not se anything when i choose a HD-channel, no sound, no nothing :confused:
The channels are visible when I do a search, and the little bar on the right side shows that is is recognized as seen and descambable - but I get nothing :mad:

How do I get the channels to function?? HELP!

You need to read the provider's card in your receiver. Are you using Oscam, CCcam? Do you need to use a CI module?

My card is working as it decodes the SD channels just fine (and nothing works without the card :-) )
I am using the newest Vix (5.1.011) and the newest CCcam the box found (2.3.0).
No CI module, just the card in the build-in reader.

I'm far from an expert in these things, normally when the things run smoothly, I just update from time to time using the remote controller...

All of the HD channels from Viasat.

Example: Some of the channels in the list have to entries, one not HD and the other HD. I can see them both on the list, but i can only get one of them on the TV-screen.

A couple of days ago, the channel "TV2 Sport" changed to "TV2 Sport HD", and now I can not watch it :(

If the channel wasn't being tuned, he wouldn't get now/next EPG

Viasat HD channels are only available in original Viasat box - and all channels will go HD within a few month.
