View Full Version : [VU+ Uno4K] Recording freezing/glitching

Hi All,

I have a VU+ Uno 4k which is glitching and freezing whilst recording. The box is new and bought recently. I am using cable vm setup (not satellite) with the below:

using Vix red EPG skin
New USB Seagate 2TB hard drive
Hard Drive initialized through Vix

Can I have assistance with this issue please? Let me know if you require any more info.

Hi Ashley,

SNR is 97%

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Has the usb HD its own separate power supply?

(Vix 5.0.032 was released in October.)

Yes the HDD has its own power supply connected. Does the latest Vix version fix the HDD recrding glitch/freezing issue please?

Are you using Oscam-latest (softcam) from the plugin feeds?

Is the Vu+ Uno 4K the old version or newer SE version?
My guess is you have a badly configured Oscam files (possibly) and how many recordings are you trying to record at the same time? Also how is your setup? Using splitters etc? The signal might be too strong and you need to lower it, all different factors to take into account.
