Installing VLC PLayer

I am new to this type of staellite box, I have a VU+ Solo 2. In the past I have been able to install the VLC player. However since the latest upgrade to Openvix 5 it no longer seems to be available in the plugins. Am I missing something.

I have the same question. Many of my downloaded videos don't play on the embedded player, VLC will play them on my PC.
Is there a VLC plugin for vix now? I can't seem to find it but maybe it's buried in there somewhere.
