View Full Version : [OS-mega] receiver stuck on Welcome screen

Any one able to help, i put receiver on deep standby and disconnected from mains electric socket.

Connected back again after about 30 minutes, box boots to the "WELCOME " on its display and stuck.

cannot access via Openwebif, PuTTy or FTP client, so seems like its not even connecting to home network.

Any help will be very much appreciated

Try disconnecting your network cable and turn box off and on.

Flash 5.1 005. Restore the settings backup that were made when you updated.

Thanks mate, just disconnected the the network and power cable, left for about 5 minutes, powered back on again and its working.

Any idea what must have caused this problem? so i avert it next time

I had this issue when online update from 5.1.002 to .006 - it rebooted and was stuck on WELCOME screen. This was for OSMINI+ receiver.
I switched off and on via switch at back of box and all came back up OK. Didn't answer your question though but obviously something with the upgrade in my case

That issue is fixed in 007.
