Hello There.

Can anybody help me out to fix my Gigablue Quad 4k with the latest openvix?
The GUI size is always changing after Standby (not powercycle).
After Power Cycle the GUI Size is back to where i set it.

Thank You!

Do you have the overscan feature turned off on your TV?

No, didnt found it yet, but when i set the GUI Size in the settings the size is ok, only after the STB goes in standby and after that the GUI Size setting seems to be gone.
By the way, the TV Picture is fine at any time.

Thank you for your fast response

I mean, if you for example, switch channel, so there is the info box on the bottom of the screen, and there are the edges not shown because of the size.
Also the size of the settings box are out of range.

Then Andy is correct, the TV picture is over size, you need to turn off overscan on the TV. The picture may look fine, but it is overscanned.
If you cannot find it in your TV instructions, let us know the TV make & model (I guess its a Samsung? :) )and perhaps we can help.

So on TV remote:-
Menu button, Picture (options), size, -> change to "screen fit" (default is overscan ... Samsung call it Auto Wide in the manual I have from Samsung web site)
It also says that:
.. After selecting Screen Fit in HDMI (1080i / 1080p) or
Component (1080i / 1080p) mode, you may need to
center the picture:
1. Press the ◄ or ► button to select Position.
2. Press the ENTER button.
3. Press the ▲, ▼, ◄ or ► button to move the picture

I love Samsung and their assumptions.
