View Full Version : Kodi 16.1 on solo2

Guys recently installed Kodi on my solo2. Installed fine, then tried to install the Dimitrology addon. This does not seem to work, so I tried the Ares wizard, this I cannot find a working link, that works.

Hence wandering which addon you guys use/recommend.

17.6 is the latest Kodi. What version of ViX are you using, as 16.1 is such an old build? I think Ares Wizard has gone, unless its come back!?! The Beast Encore is a decent wizard to use.

I hope your signature is wrong! 4.2.030 is old. I would personally update to 5.1.004 and get access to all the latest drivers and plugin feeds etc.

Thanks for coming back, unfortunately mt sig is correct, I am indeed on 4.02.030.

Ok I'll look into upgrading, will it be a fresh usb flash or can i do a couch flash?

Couch flash and usb flash are the same thing. Couch flashing is more convenient. You wont be able to restore your settings automatically but there is a guide here on how to do it http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?57193-Manually-restore-settings-from-images-older-than-4-2

Thanks intresting link, will look into updating the image over the christmas break

If you are on 4.2 030, the settings can be restored on the current image. No needfor a manual restore.

Ok happy to say now on the latest Vix 5.1.006.

where can I find the latest Beasts Encore wizard? cheers
