It is impossible for anyone to give you a helpful answer as you have supplied no details of how the receiver is configured.

Receiver is Edision OS Mega with 500GB internal HDD, timer is set to record to HDD/Movies.
Twin DVB-S2 tuner configured for Astra 28.2e
1 x DVB-C tuner configured for virgin media UK

Please if you could be more specific with any configuration, i will post the screenshots.

cheers

My Internal HDD is mounted properly and the EPG populated ok, i set the recording from the EPG hence why i used Zap and Record

Does this happen regularly, or is this a one off?

If the former, I'd try record rather than zap and record, and see how it goes.

does it matter if its sat or cable or both that have issue?

It started after I update my receivers to 5.1.002. I have both Edision mini+ and OS MEGA.
This happens on both, I normally use DVB-C tuner for recording

in the timer list the programme started at 21:05
but in your log it shows as starting over an hour later.
are all the time settings right on your receiver?

i myself would reflash and setup boxes from scratch just in case people might have other files corrupting things from restore

... and recorded for 7 minutes, before stopping at the correct endtime.

Have you got recordings always have priority set to yes?

Are you using timeshift?
