Hi,

Apologies I cant give the exact build number at the moment as I cant get into the menu as the box (os mega, with blue hd skin) is boot looping & im new to putty.

Basically I was following a guide to install xtream editor, got to the point where I pressed the yellow key to import Bouquets and then the box crashed and is stuck in a boot loop with an on screen prompt saying upload log file here, unfortunately I do not know how to access this file using putty (can now get to the file but cant copy it to my pc as its asking for a password....) & cant get into the normal menu... I have attached a picture of the on screen prompt.

I have not performed a reflash yet as I wanted to see if there was anything to be done first.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Using putty, connect to the IP address
login with root nopassword
enter init 4
Using filezilla connect using the same ip address and root
then in right panel skip down to usr, click to open up and continue down until you get to usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins
find this plugin, click on it and then delete
Back to putty and enter init 6 (restart)

Thanks Twol that s brilliant, the box is now working again.

I will try again and see what happens.

Is it worth uploading the log file or wait & see what happens at the next try?

Its obviously eithe an issue with the plugin or the way you have integrated it... or both:)
So you would have to talk to the plugins owner
