Hi,
Please can someone tell me how do I reduce the number of rows that show on my recordings list?

I can't check at the moment, but I think pressing menu when viewing the recordings list will give you lots of options you can change (select settings).

Correct.

The OP can also setup a number of (user) named folders (bookmarks) in which to store the recordings which may make sorting/selecting easier. Once set up any recording can be automatically routed to any of the folders.

When in recordings list -> Menu -> Settings -> Number of rows
