Budget is €300 to €350.

My brother wants to buy a laptop but is confused by all the jargon.
His internet speed is 10mbs most of the time.
He won't be playing games or storing pics etc...
He said that 4Gb + 250GB of memory will do for storage, but what he wants most is a fast processor as his pages load slowly on his 10 year old laptop.
14: or 15" screen.
He was on about the I3 processor that someone told him about.
So, basically, all that he wants is a laptop with a fast processor and he'd prefer Windows 7.
So if anyone has knowledge of these matters I would be happy to receive suggestions

It all depends on what he watches, before an I3 would be okay, but a lot of sites like newspapers inflict videos playing as soon as you start to read.
I would buy at least I5 or equivalent with 4GB ram or more.

I would definitely buy a second hand think pad or an elitebook. Very good laptops and are reliable

I agree, second had EliteBook would be the best option for that budget.
