EPG refresh

double check your epg options. maybe device is not mounted or has problem.

Other possibility is corrupt EPG

I use flash and its all the same on flash USB or HDD I'll delete it and reinstall see if that helps I also dont see virgin in crossepg I get 0 downloads when trying rytec

I'm having the same problem with my HD51.

I have multiboot with ATV and Pli and the same problem with those.

Internal Flash is a no go for storing your EPG data. Easily gets corrupted.

In post 4, I asked if you zap/select the channel manually, do you get 5 day EPG?
In post 5, you said "ran it again"

This is not helpful in identifying/resolving issue. Anyway, looking at the channels on the transponder, there are now other HD services on there. Previously, there were only the VM preview channels.

There is an error/omission in my previous posts. I use the VM preview channel, so this may be why I did not encounter the problem. Can I ask that you manually select the Preview channel and see if the EPG is absorbed for several days? (Do not use EPG refresh for this test). If you have EPG for several days, please edit the service you use for EPG refresh.

If it does not work, you can try using EPG importer.

Sorry I misunderstood, OK I selected the preview channel and went through the EPG and saw broken listings last one on the 2 oct, I exited and went back in and all EPG is there to the the 4 Oct, thanks your some man so will I change epgrefresh from PVR to preview channel

Why is the bad setting default in the image?
Couldn't it default to hdd or usb (and possibly fall back to flash only if neither is found when the image is installed)?

i would imagine with a new image there is only flash as default,usb and hdd need to be added afterwards.
for many years i was not aware of storing to usb or hdd and then box needed to be flashed again.

PLI uses USB/HDD first.

Our main coder prefers internal flash for EPG storage. EPG is only read at startup/shut down/restart. So that may have affected coding.

However, EPG and CrossEPG database are two different things.
