Hi folks,

Has anyone got a Netgear DGN3500 router and are able to remotely access their Vu Duo successfully?

I was able to get this working no probs with my old Netopia router...

1. I have created a new service on the router for the port specified on my Vu Web Interface settings.
2. I have created a firewall rule to allow inbound traffic on this service and forward to my Vu Duo.

If I attempt to connect via:

Https://xxxxx.dyndns.tv:20786 (20786 port specified on web inf)

My connection times out!

Any ideas or anyone have this router?

I had tried outbound and inbound yesterday both enabled at the same time, each on their own but nothing was giving me access...

It'd be great if you could check your settings later, cheers man!

are you out side of your network when you are trying to remote
ie at work?

No, internal.. Will the dgn3500 not allow this?

Hi hummer66,

Top marks, as soon as I turned off WiFi on the iPhone and tried that URL it worked fine..

The modem is acting strange then, can't see why it wouldn't allow this..

Anyway, port forwarding is working thankfully!

Thanks for the help,
