Channel lists - 1 , 2 edit ?

New to this - Questions about Channel lists.

1) Do I need to find a channel list file (extn ?) that covers the satellites i am interested in - OR - can I download 2 lists (1 for each satellite)
(I'm looking for a Freesat @ 28Deg E AND an FTA for Astra 19.2 Deg E)

2) Can I use any "TM" list doe does it need to be for my Model ?

3) Can I edit them on my PC and if so hot do I get them on / off (USB ?)

The ABM plugin (already installed in OpenViX) will create Freesat 28.2 and 19.2 for you... just select the correct options .. and runs on any receiver that has an OpenViX image (and others)
If you need to edit, then use Echannelizer on a Windows PC.

Box - TM Twin 4k
LNB1 - at 28.2 for freesat
LNB2 - at 19.2 for FTA

Network is setup (is online) but not on a network to the PC

Any enigma2 channel list will do. You cannot use a channel list from non-enigma2 receivers like TM-5402.

Best to use channel editors like DreamBoxEdit, Dreamset, E-Channelizer

and there are two editors listed....
Channel editor for all tm-1000/5000/6000/7100
TM-5402HD Channel list editor

are either of these suited ?

On second thoughts, please do twol has suggested. Use AutoBouquetsMaker.

Ok - Auto Boquet maker it is then, do I...

1) Having already done a full scan on the two Satelites i have dishes pointed at (28.2 & 19.2) - then run autoboquetmaker which then "Puts the boquet together" - Is that how it works

or

2) clear out the list and just run Autoboquetmaker.

Just run ABM ... but think through the options before you choose:)
I use both ABM and Echannelizer to produce the Freesat for 19.2 and 28,2, as my relatives like to be able to see their German channels in the 1st 100 channels/services then they can just type in 1,2,3 etc :)

Thanks to all who contribted - I am now using Echannelizer and getting by lists as i want them
