Just wondering if this is possible and if so, how?
I have a minix neo x8-h plus downstairs & a Panasonic Viera TV upstairs with internet built in.
Is it possible to play a film downstairs on the Minix neo x8-h plus & get the video on the TV upstairs?
I can't move the smartbox as it belongs to my brother.

Where are you playing the film from downstairs ie kodi, plex or something else? I would have thought it would need some kind of sharing software on the TV upstairs and then you pick the Minix up as a share on the WiFi network?

Sorry for not getting back sooner.
It's Kodi downstairs and the tv upstairs.
If it's possible, Ii would need a guide on how to do this.

Your TV should be able to stream using DLNA. See if you can get your minix box to act as a DLNA server.

Why not just buy a box for upstairs they're cheap enough
