View Full Version : 2 lnb's - 1 fixed dish: what do I need?

Just recently got myself a TM5402HD(connected hdmi to main tv), all working grand on a 80cm fixed dish pointing at 28E. Also have another feed from this dish going to standard sky+ box which is shared to all tv's in the house via RF.

I'm interested in getting a 2nd lnb on the same dish pointing at another sat (for 3pm footy).

I'm a total newbie and looking to know what all I need to get this setup?

Thanks in advance for any help

on a 80 you should be able to do a multi sat setup quite easily but may not be able to get every single channel on the fringe sats.

You want the one beging AVF in the 3nd link

Thanks for the info.....tryin to read up on it, totally new to it all lol

At the min i have a quad lnb supplying to receivers, if i add a 2nd lnb, can i still only have the current feeds going to the 2 receivers? ie is their something in the middle that in theory "joins" the 2 lnb's into one cable wise?

Cheers

It might pay you to draw a description of what your trying to achieve, scan it and post it.
