Remote control replacement

Hi guys,

My friend has the xp1000+ and the remote broke (smashed) and I have looked online for a replacement remote but it is really expensive and ships from Germany.

Is there any remote I can use to operate the box? I do not want a universal remote like the harmony. Will any of the newer octagon model remotes work?

You could always get him to download an app for his mobile phone that will act as a remote.

Thanks, this remote is different to the one that came with the xp1000+. Will it still work?

The info says this is for xp1000 but im looking for the + version.

Doesnt matter if remote is different as long as it works.
