Openvpn not starting and stops openvix from loading

Hi all

Ive tried using open vpn on my edison mini box (5.0.025 build)
I want to install a VPN (ip vanish)

I followed the instructions on here but cant get the service to start - i press the green button but it just says stopped in red
If i reboot the box it stops at 42 (on front display) and refuses to boot up

I tried reflashing and just setting up open vpn but get the same issue. Ive tried installing vpn and not configuring it and not putting on auto and again on reboot the box stops at 42. If i telnet in and run opkg remove openvpn and then hard reboot the box it will boot as normal
