I have tried modifying unicable.xml with these settings, <product name="UK 119" format="JESS" scr1="1076" scr2="1178" scr3="1280" scr4="1382" scr5="1484" scr6="1586" scr7="1688" scr8="1790" scr9="0975" scr10="1025" scr11="1225" scr12="1330" scr13="1430" scr14="1535" scr15="1630" scr16="1730" scr17="1840" scr18="1880" scr19="1920" scr20="1960" scr21="2000" scr22="2040" scr23="2080" scr24="2125" /> but the box crashes.

I then tried entering them manually in "user defined", but I can not get them to save. i.e. in position 1 I enter scr1 details but they change back to whatever I enter in scr2 and so on.

Any help would be very much appreciated as I have spent days on this so far.

Thank you

Thank you, it is great to have the data sheet, although I am still struggling with the setup.
I am practising on tuner B which has nothing connected to it. If I save a frequency below scr1 and then another for scr2, scr1 reverts to what I saved for scr2.
Please could you explain the significance of the "Positiom" field and am I correct in thinking that the "Threshhold is 1170 for this LNB?

Many thanks

Leave the position field as default. I think it has something to do with combining LNBs/switches.

Our resident expert will be along soon and will provide assistance.

OK, got it working. Sorry, I was being really stupid and trying to input the entire range 1-24. What an idiot!!!

Thank you for your prompt help.

Position is when you have several custom programmed LNBs all using the same cable. So using the custom programmer you program LNB 1 to only answer position 1 requests, and LNB 2 to only respond to position 2 requests.

LNB default behaviour is to respond to all requests.

Have you got an updated copy of your unicode.xml file.

All is becoming much clearer now. I have manually configured A & B with their own scr numbers and presume that I will have to do the same with C - H as they will not be able to auto-configure as the LNB is not listed in the unicable.xml config file.
I did edit the file with the details listed in my first post but it caused the box to crash during tuner setup. I presume that it was something to do with the file header not corresponding to the contents?

For Unicable you have to configure all tuners manually irrespective of what is in the xml file.

Your best bet would be update the xml file properly for your lnb.

OK, that is good to know.

I thought I had updated it properly but the system didn't seem to like it.

Anyway, at least everything is working now and I am most grateful for your help.
