To record more than one channel at the same time what does the tuner settings have to be on if using tuner A in advance mode for motorised system.

Hi Mate,

What is your setup? Are you running of a single motorised satellite and twin output LNB?

no mate single LNB in tuner A set on advance mode

Does your single LNB have dual or quad outputs? With one of them connected to Tuner B?

No its just single does that mean i can only record one channel at a time, unless i change my LNB to dual one and have it connected to tuner B aswell?

You would need to have a twin/dual output LNB.....This way you can have one line going to Tuner A, and the Other to Tuner B.

This will allow the recording off more than one channel....In theory you could record more than one channel of the one tuner...as long as the channels are broadcast from the same transponder.

I have a very similar setup to you....I have a 80cm Motorsised setup. I have a twin out put LNB. 1st out put goes to the motor and then to Tuner A. the second output goes straight in to Tuner B. Setup Tuner A as Simple - Positioner - Set your Longitude and Latitude. Tuner B set to '2nd cable of motorised satellite - from tuner A' (something like that...cant remember exact working).

I have successfully set as above and recorded multiple channels...

With a single output you can still watch/record other channels on the same transponder. The channels that you cant switch too whilst recording will be greyed out ;)

Yes m8 start recording and then the other tuner kicks in automatic when you go to view another channel
