I did a stupid thing and accidentally connected unifi ubiquiti ethernet cable into VU+ Ultimo 4k's ethernet port. Unifi's POE injector is of the dumb type and it always sends 24V over the ethernet cable. LAN actually worked while I did that, and I see no obvious signs of damage when using the receiver, but I am still wondering if it potentially did some damage to the receiver that will manifest itself after a while? Do VU+ receivers have some kind a protection on the ethernet port?

Pins 4&5 are the usual POE lines (polarity varies with Cisco) so any well designed equipment will have capacitors protecting the pins of the RJ45 socket on your box even assuming those two pins are connected to anything, I don't have a circuit diagram to verify but I'm sure the manufacturers would be pleased to put your mind at rest.
