Darkened Image

Every time I put ther VU into standby, I get a darkened image of the last screen - using a HDMI lead and this is really annoying.

Also whats best standby or shutdown for the extra bits to still carry on working. I tried shutdown and it relly did shut everythingt down:D

The darkened image is a known bug with the HDMI output not completely powering off in standby. It less apparent with some skins.

Tbh I never use anything other than standby, purely for the reason I like the receiver to come on instantly when I want to use it, but depending on your revision receiver Shutdown or deepstandy (shutdown = deepstandby in Dream Elite) recording timers should work. Setup a dummy timer to test.

I had the same bug with my dm7025 via s-video so not just common to the duo.

I get a 50/50 screen when it powers down to standby which isnt a problem infact i am very impressed with the vu+ on power up ..very quick responce
