Timeshift issue

Just set up this box. Can anyone advise on how to use timeshift on the remote control. I can pause but how do I fast forward and rewind? thanks.

Ahh worked it out press 1 to rw 3 to forward!!

The buttons 1, 4 and 7 can be configured to jump/skip back by a user defined time

The buttons 3, 6 and 9 and be configured to jump/skip forward a user defined time (assuming that you are watching a recording or in a time delay mode)

Menu -> setup -> system -> recording and playback settings -> custom skip for the 1, 3 buttons etc.

Otherwise if timeshift is configured to be permanently on you can use the normal rewind/fast rewind/forward/fast forward buttons
Menu -> setup -> system -> timeshift settings -> Automatically start timeshift after = say, 10 seconds.
obviously you cannot go forward unless you a watching delayed (or previously paused) program

Ok I have changed the settings to configure the timeshift permanently but my remote doesn't have the forward backwards buttons. I still have to press the pause button and then use 1 and 3 and it's quite clunky. Has the remote recently changed as I have seen different Miraclebox remotes? The box is great but I could do with a fix for this.

On my remote I don't have the usual fast forward and rewind buttons. Is there anyway I can configure the remote buttons to act as rewind and fast forward or should I buy a replacement remote with those buttons on?
