Xpeed LX1 as a client box

Hi all.

So i was really excited when I read about the client box option in vix 5.013.
I can dig my old Xpeed LX1 out the cupboard hook it up to telly upstairs and stream from my solo2 downstairs
But alas, Xpeed LX1 is not supported anymore.

So my question is, can I use this as a client box to view channels without and actual cable feed?
It's been achieved already so there must be another way of doing it?

Use OpenATV. You should be able to use RCSC plugin.

Would I only need openatv on the client box or both? I am pretty set on vix.
I should also add I only have 1 tuner, but would only ever use 1 box at a time

Thanks. I have flashed the image and setup the rcsc plugin. I can open the channels but they are glitch and freezing all the time. All is fine on my main stb. Any ideas why?

How is it connected to network? Wifi or ethernet.

It is connected with 200 mbps homeplugs

Can you temporarily connect it by ethernet to rule out the home plugs?

No not possible I'm afraid. It does seem worse on HD channels though so it might be the home plugs

Get some better homeplugs. 200 Mbps are poor. I'd say minimum 500 Mbps ones at least.
