From build 5.0.015 a new plugin is available and is coded for use with Plex DVR

This will allow you to use Plex's DVR system to record shows from your E2 box directly into your Plex library. The EPG system in Plex is powered by Gracenote.

PlexDVR is ONLY available to PLEX PASS members at the moment and you must use version 1.7.0 or above

https://www.plex.tv/features/dvr/

I have attached a quick setup guide.

Hi everyone,
As a plex pass member, I am trying to run the Plex dvr functionality using my Dreambox DM900.

Is there anyway to run this plugin (PLEXDVR.API) on Dreambox DM900?
I just bought one, and I am currently using the original image but I am flexible. Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

currently using ver 0.96 - due to channel streaming using the Plex DreamboxPlugin.

Issue in the past was that every upgrade broke the streaming capability of LIVE channels, recording would be fine.

If I update to 1.7 will that plugin work?

Ive followed the PDF instructions but keep getting an error after restarting the box:

"Warning

Some plugins are not available:
PlexDVRAPI/src (No module named PlexDVRAPI.src.plugin)"

What am I doing wrong?

I only get that message when PlexDVRAPI folder in: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins

If i do what the instructions say and put it in: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins or even: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions the "PlexDVRAPI" folder just deletes itself as soon as I leave the folder or restart.

Whats happening?

Could someone please go into detail of step 2 and 3 of the instructions please and tell me how to sort this out?

Thanks

Why are you not installing from the feeds? That way everyting goes in the correct place, i.e. in systemplugins.

PlexDVR plugin does not appear be on my list of available plugins. Formuler F1 -- OpenViX 5.4.012 (2021-05-14)

Has this plugin been moved / removed /renamed?

Do I need to do something else to make it available?

Thanks

I think there's some confusion because the thread is headed "Hrtunerproxy plugin (formally known as PlexAPI)". Presumably it means "formerly".

Is HRtunerproxy (0.0-142-g08db32a-r0) Python 3 compatible ?

I don't know. If not it can be updated. Have a look at the repo to see if there are py3 commits.

By the look of it, not converted.

Were you running this plugin? If we convert it can you test?

Ok. The repo is updated. For me it seems to be working. Please test as I am not a user of the plugin.

When I try installing I get this:

< 47.0392> 18:05:50.1921 [PluginComponent] Plugin SystemPlugins/HRTunerProxy failed to load: No module named 'Plugins.SystemPlugins.HRTunerProxy.plugin'
< 47.0402> 18:05:50.1931 [PluginComponent] Plugin probably removed, but not cleanly in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/HRTunerProxy
< 47.0406> 18:05:50.1935 [PluginComponent] trying to remove: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/HRTunerProxy

Sometimes the plugin will show in the menus but that forces the UI to restart.

(I previously had this plugin installed and configured prior to upgrading)

What menus? The version on the feeds is not current. If you want the fixed version you either need to download from the repo or wait for next release build.

Ok, but why does the above version you quoted show?No idea what you mean. I just said: "Ok. The repo is updated. For me it seems to be working." What am I supposed to have quoted?

No idea what you mean. I just said: "Ok. The repo is updated. For me it seems to be working." What am I supposed to have quoted?Ok, so after numerous questions we've established that I replied to your post stating you'd pushed a particular version to "the repo" and that you've enabled that for a version of vix that doesn't support that.
I simply replied to your request for testing.

You need to replace the seven files on your system by those which have been altered by this commit...

https://github.com/OpenViX/HRTunerProxy/commit/7fd199a6798fbe544aa30ae318289fdb1dbc9935

The commit is in the HRTunerProxy repo (Repository).

The feeds won't be updated until the next ViX release.

The feeds won't be updated until the next ViX release. Then this shouldn't be available in the repo until the correct prerequisite version of vix has been installed.

Just basic ITIL.

But as already stated, why does the version you reference and request testing download?I didn't mention a version. If you want to test you needs to manually download the current code and FTP it to your box.

But anyway, when I said "please test" I was talking to Orlandox, as he is the one that raised the report.

Why ? The current (latest) version of ViX is a "correct prerequisite version of vix".

Just basic ITIL.The people concerned tested it and found it working correctly.

Obviously nothing useful is going to come out of your posts, so thread closed.
