View Full Version : Vu+ Zero and diseqc not working (latest Openvix 5 0 014)

Tested today a latest vix 5.0.014 and got a big problem. I can use only my first satellite, diseqc settings are broken.
I got diseqc 1.0 and 4.8E, 13E, 19.2E and 36E but i can use only 4.8E. Other satellites looks like not connected even after correct diseqc settings.

Somebody please fix this issue.

Can you attach your settings, lamedb and satellites.xml files please? You'll need to zip them first.

These are settings from ATV but i got exactly same setup in latest VIX and only LNB 1 is working.

There is no file called "settings" in your attachment. You will find it in /etc/enigma2

Also, are you setting the tuners or using the software manager plugin

You have complicated the tuners setup. I am not to familiar with the advanced mode, but simple will do.

You should have set it as:

Simple
Diseqc abcd
For each port set the satellite.

Press green to save afterwards

Simple is not working for me because i need to set 36E as circular LNB.
And i also tryed simple abcd configuration and still only 4.8E is working, 13E and 19.2E not.

I got three vu+ zeros in one house and mutant hd51+edision osmini in second house.
Edision and HD51 both got latest vix and no problem at all (i got 10 satellites connected to those receivers). It must be some bug in vu zero software...

It's still not fixed, tryed openvix-5.0.023 and diseqc funkctions are not working.

Also tryed same settings on OpenATV, OpenPLI and VTI images...no problem at all.
Somebody who can, please fix this problem.

Does it work with diseqc AB (2 tuners) just to test 2 of them. Are the cables ok? I did a set up and found I had to retrim the cable. The cable worked fine previously but for some reason I found retrimming the cable solved my problem

Also tested PLI, VTI, blackhole images and no problems at all...Only VIX got this problem. Hope somebody solves this problem some day because i'm using VIX in my all other tuners...two zeros are only ATV tuners because vix and diseqc problem.
At the moment i'm using ATV and everything is fine (got 4in1 diseqc and settings: Port A = 4.8E, B = 13E, C = 19.2E, D = 36E). Tryed also two lnb's AB settings and still same thing (only 4.8E got signal).

I am assuming that you have also tested with a clean flash with no settings restore, that is setup from scratch?

Yes, of course clean setup.
These two zeros are still using ATV because vix is not possible thanks to this problem :confused:
