EPG download - CCcam problem

I am using Vix 1.3 and have noticed that when I do a manual EPG download via Vix/EPG menu, my CCcam stops. I have since added a timed download and every morning CCcam needs to be restarted. I have tried with download turned off, and no manual update and CCcam stays on. May just be a coincidence but thought I would check to see if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Its not CCcam stopping, it the amount of memory being used causing a stutter. Do you have a swapfile enabled?

No swap file enabled, should I have one? EPG data is currently stored on my hard drive.

create a swap on USB and also transfer epg and picons there too will help you alot
