As above I can stream but as soon as vpn started and showing connected stream stops.
any ideas please sorry if this is in wrong place

any ideas please sorry if this is in wrong placeProbably because the VPN will set itself up as the default route, which is usually why you run one. So your side of the streaming socket will suddenly appear to be somewhere else to the remote server, which will confuse things no end.

so are you saying it cant be done or will starting vpn on bootup fix it?

Is this with iptv player or private iptv? if private ask your IPTV provider, some block vpn's

Agreed Ive had provider in the past that specifically stated no vpn

thanks for your replyYou'd have to configure the VPN to not take over the route to the IPTV server network.
