View Full Version : Vu+ Solo 2 Twin Cable Tuner
Hi guys, I have a solo 2 which has a twin satellite tuner and was wondering if I had an option to make it twin cable tuner capable instead. If its not possible what box of similar price and quality should I go for?
Thanks
Rick

The Vu+ Solo2 has fixed satellite tuners and you are unable to change this. You can add a usb cable tuner, but personally I would upgrade to a receiver that has pluggable tuner options.

No problems using sundtek tuner on solo2, it is fast.
No problems using sundtek tuner on solo2, it is fast.
I have tried the sundtek on 2 of my official solo2 boxes with openvix 5 (from .23 to latest .25) but it only works if I DONT enable autorun in the sundtek plugin.
As soon as I enable autorun, box gets stuck at boot until i remove the tuner and reboot.
Any ideas what could be causing the autorun to crash my box? Any suggestions of what to check would be great.
