kodi v 17 does not want to load up?

Has anyone else had trouble jumping from V 16 to 17 (April) in as much as I have followed all instructions which work fine, it downloads perfectly but on the extraction point it will only extract up to 27% and then it just stops and asks me to switch off the device. This message should only appear after it extracts the whole download after it reads 100% NOT 27%? Has anyone else seen this happen? Thanks Guys.

You would need to delete your hidden (.kodi) folder and relaunch Kodi 17

Is this hard to do ans are there any instructions on here that I can follow to find this hiden folder please?

It should be on your Hdd, you should find it using something like Filezilla and force showing hidden files in filezilla settings. Alternatively if you have or can install dream-explorer from plugins/extensions you can find and delete the kodi folder using that.
