Problem installing iplayer WWW

I have just updated to the lates version of OPenvix and installed Kodi 17 add on. I am not able to install the iplayer add-on, receiving the error message 'the dependency on inputstream. adaptive 1.0.6 ..., the rest is lost in the display I'm afraid. Can anyone help. We use iplayer a lot and its loss would be a big blow.

I'm having the same problem. Videoplayer Inputstream adaptive needs to be enabled to allow the iPlayer to run. It can be found by selecting ADD-ONS then select MY ADD-ONS and the Videoplayer inputstream option should appear here:-

If it does then Click on it and then Click on the InputStream Adaptive option and then Click on the Enable button at the bottom of the window. Return to the previous menu and Click on the RTMP Input option and then Click on the Enable button at the bottom of the window. That should be it and you can now install iPlayer.

However, this option does not appear on my version of Kodi v17.1 and I haven't found out why or what to do about it ......yet.
