Flashing Technomate TM 800HD

ok. here goes, just cant get my head around this ... I have a old technomate tm 800HD ok which appears to flash with older bin files.. am I missing something here as I cant no matter what flash from any images of the openvix downloads?

theyre not bin files?

any suggestions... more curious than the box
