Vu+ Solo2 and WeTek Play2

Hi,

I have a VU+ Solo2 which has two satellite feeds plugged into the tuner i.e. Tuner A & Tuner B both configured as Simple in Open Vix 4.2.

I also have a WeTek Play 2 which has a single satellite tuner in and a out feed.

I have taken the feed that goes into Tuner B on the Vu+ and plugged it into the input on the WeTek. I have then used another cable from the WeTek out feed and plugged the other end into Tuner B on the Vu+.

Do I need to change the config of Tuner B in Open Vix from simple? Also, is this the correct way to set it up as I only have 2 satellite feeds and want to connect both boxes?

You cannot share a satellite signal that way.

Option A:
Signal wire to Wetek.
Signal wire to Tuner B of Solo 2. Set as Simple single, 28.2
No signal wire to Tuner A of Solo 2. Tuner A set as loop through to tuner B


Option B:
Both signal wires to Solo 2. Both set as simple, single 28.2
Use PVR client on Wetek 2 to stream from Solo2.
