Vu plus kodi 17

Hi all I've just up dated my Vu solo2 with vix 5.0.
Flashed via USB did not preform a restore for enigma 2 or plugins settings. All is working well apart from Vu plus kodi 17 won't launch it just brings up a black screen then jumps back to the plugins menu. Is any one eles haveing this problem? Any help on how to fix this issue would be helpfull

you may have to delete the .kodi file from your hard drive.

remove kodi from plugins then delet kodi folder from hd and download kodi from plugins again

I've got it working fine on my solo4k can understand why it won't run on the solo 2

Will have another bash 2moro.

have you tried a fresh flash with no restore do not setup anything or plugins and remove kodi folder from hd just install kodi so you can eliminate any plugins or skins that cause it not to work
you can always do a restore after

I have uno4k before jarvis worked very well but kodi 17 crypthon is very problematic;
1-mount in media / hdd/.kodi
2-automatically creates the stand-alone .kodi for usb
3-The plugin can not be installed except its own addons
I would like to ask the managers to put the kodi again jarvis because jarvis very stable working

Hi had another play with kodi 17 cannot get it to launch on the solo2. I have kodi 17 running fine on the solo 4k

I played with it loads on Sun on my duo2. Lot more streams play I found(especially live sport) but it didn't like a few builds. Skin errors...

kodi 17 works fine on my solo2 with latest vix no black screen.

Using Aeon Nox via echo wizard. Still get a skin shortcut error but everything played so far and quickly

back again lol i removed .kodi folder from HDD

i have just flashed vix 5.0 on the solo 2. i have nothing installed no cams, skins, or plugins.
mounted a usb for epg
i have setup epg and autobouqutes maker

downloaded kodi 17 from the plugins feeds now working :thumbsup::)

I tried Ares build on the ares wizard and no skin errors

I have Vu uno4k and openvix 5.0.02 and installed Kodi 17.
When starting Kodi it seems to take a long time for the Kodi 17 logo to appear but then changes to the Kodi 16 logo and then starts the Kodi 16 interface with the repo I used before
There are two folders created one in extensions and the other in usr/lib this folder however is dated a few days ago
When I uninstall Kodi both these folders disappear
I want to do a new clean install so I have uninstalled it and checked that the extensions Kodi folder has gone.
I also checked there was no Kodi folder on hdd
When I reinstall the same thing happens it looks like Kodi 16 with the addons that I previously installed

Its a hidden folder on your hard drive code called .kodi

if you use FileZilla you have to click on server then force show hidden folders then go to hd and delete kodi folder

I did it using Filezilla
After rebooting I installed Kodi 17 via plugins/extentions on my Uno4k but it keeps freezing with no addons, all I was doing was navigating the settings.
Tried several times but with no success
As it is at the moment its unusable. Kodi 16 worked well on openvix 4.30. should I go back to that image or is there a Kodi 16 version I could install

Hi, long time since I posted as my boxes have been running solidly.

I installed Kodi 17 Krypthon on my VU+ Solo2 last night.

I installed a fresh update of the pulse build from the Ares wizard which worked fine.

I can use all plugins and watch streams however the build doesn't have any background images when selecting sections and some plugins like exodus don't show their icon. Is there a specific reason for this?
