Zap crash?

I has set a zap for 9am. At 8.57 I had a 'software problem, receiver has to restart' message.

Not a clue what could have caused the problem.

Its a known issue and will be fixed in next update. There is a thread detailing a fix to do yourself. I will try and find link for you.

Has anyone tried a zap timer in .26 yet? Crashing on me again like this. Id updated via software update but also just tried a couch flash and still happening.

A zap recording timer crashes too. That seems to have put it in a.boot loop now!

It seems to reference hdmi-cec somehow?!

Will do when time. Disabled hdmi-cec and it still happened on a zap timer. Not trying a zap and record again as had to reflash.

Can someone else not just try a zap timer on .26???

If it is the same one, we've found the issue and fixed it in Dev image. If it sis same crash, can only tell after seeing crash log, I'll upload a temp fix.

OK, same crash. Receiver stays in a bootloop until timer ends.

Unzipped the attached py file and transfer to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components
Reboot, then delete the .py file
