Been using an et8500 and fancy change of box.add to that I just stupidly purchased a 3tb 3.5" hdd which does not fit the strand

Struggling to find a twin/triple tuner box that supports a 3.5" internal hdd as don't want to rely on a usb caddy so any help greatly appreciated

Sell it and buy a 2.5 inch drive.
You will have much more options available to you.

I did manage to fit a 3.5 inch drive in my mutant hd51 but I replaced it with a 2.5 inch drive in the end after asking about the possible negative effects such as possible increases heat and power consumption.

Yep could sell it but fancy new box and was hoping to kill two birds with one stone. Just wish there was a present generation box that takes a 3.5" hdd

All the manufacturers are looking to make there boxes smaller. Just the usual trend with tech I suppose.

Vu+ Duo2 takes a 3.5" HDD. Great STB too.

Cheers Andy, I had the duo 2 in past and find it excellent. Was hoping for a receiver I hadn't tried before with preferably h265 support but seems there are none that take an internal 3.5"

Vu+ Ultimo 4K takes a 3.5" one. I have a 3TB Red HDD in mine. [emoji4]
