Turn off front panel when in standby??

Is there any way to turn off front panel when in standby??

I have the unit in my bedroom, but even when the frontpanel is turned down to it's lowest intensity it is still very bright (a lot brighter than my old Xtrend 9200)

Deep standby will probably switch off the front panel if there isn't another solution.
