Hi folks,

I have been trying out RyVix, I notice that some channels are blank in EPG, notibly they seem to be the channels that depend on my SKY FTV card / cam.
C4 HD
Five
Fiver
Sky 3 etc

If I go to Extensions - RyVix EPG - Manual and do a manual import, then I get the full EPG but I seem to have to do this everyday which I don't understand.

this is a epg issue not VIX only

have reload enabled after crash, its an option in the importer.

Thanks, but what crash are you referring to? what is the importer? What has all this got to do with incomplete EPG?

It sounds like ryvix crashed on importing automatically and that the epg you have is the freesat epg which loads bbc,itv etc but not ftv like fiver etc. And when you did it manually you have got the rytec epg. Have you a swap file created and do you have many epg sources. Try using crossepg open tv source and it will fill all uk channels for 7 days.

If using cross epg there is an option reload on boot

What does reload on boot mean?

If set to no, the epg is still there so if had to load anyway, no?
or does it mean update on boot - as in update the epg with any new programs/listings?

You should be fine with it set to no as seems to load anyway on mine unless there is a crash. Just set cross epg up in config menu of cross epg to the default (in standby) and it should keep the epg updated continuously a week ahead
