I have configured a Technomate triple tuner box 'Technomate TM-Nano-SE M2 PLUS Enigma 2 Linux HD PVR TRIPLE TUNER Combo 1x DVB-S/S2 + 2x DVB-C Receiver' but disabled the satellite tuner (ie set as not configured).

I have setup the CrossEPG for use with Rytec as it's configured for cable use.
However when I get run CrossEPG I get an error 'No valid dvb-s2 NIMMS'

I think I know why this is happening but can't resolve. It seems to because in the EPG providers order there is cable and then below that satellite. I can't delete the satellite provider. I have no Sky Open TV Provider EPG enabled.
The EPG only populates for 24 hours. Other than reflashing is there a quick fix? I have deleted the EPG.dat and tried to rerun but still same error.

Thanks

CrossEPG does not download any cable providers from transport stream. So you need to disable OpenTV and set up xml import.

Thanks, I don't think I have enabled any OpenTV settings hence my query but I will check again tonight

OpenTV is the only part of CrossEPG that uses a tuner so it must be enabled if you get a tuner error.

ok will check. Presumably , if no tick is there then it's not enabled?
