Hi, if I leave my sat box on without changing channels for a few hours it stops responding to the remote although the TV channel continues to work fine. It's almost as if it's gone into some kind of sleep mode and nothing I press on the remote works. When I switch the box off and on again it works just fine. I'm not sure how long it needs to be on for this to happen. Any ideas?

Low energy lights can affect remote signals, but usually when lights are first switched on as can plasma tv's, again at first switch on though.

Try enabling debug logs and see if anything crops up next time it locks up.

How do I enable please?

Not 100% sure, but try menu/settings and look for sub menu logs and enable from in there.
Like I say not 100% sure but I'm sure someone will be along shortly with correct process.

You have not uploaded debug logs.

You have not uploaded debug logs.

Is there a guide on how to do that?

OK, I've enabled the debug logging and it seems to have generated something on the log menu on the box but I'm not sure where it is stored on the box so I can pull it across using filezilla and then (somehow) upload it here

When you enabled the debug logs, there is a location for them. The default is /home/root/logs/

A guide to attaching files to forum is in my signature. If the log file is too big, you may need to zip it before you can upload it.
