Update Config Files error

I am getting an error message when selecting 'Update Config Files' from the ABM Menu.

When selecting this option it tries to download the config files and then 'Incompatible versions: 2.4 > 2.5' appears on screen.

I'm using OpenVIX v4.2.029 on an Xtrend ET8500.

Can someone assist/advise please ?

It's a known ABM issue. Started on ATV few days ago. My 8500 and duo 2 the same on VIX. There was a package of 4 updates straight after .29 but issue still there. Not the end of the world

Have a read through this thread http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?55352-Abm-attributes-error-HD_ALLOWED_TYPES the latest provider files aren't compatible with abm 2.4 so your image needs abm 2.5

Not sure what you mean. The version was bumped last night so I can't see how that is related to an issue in ATV. If the is one please start a nww thread with debug logs.

Reason for version bump is some code in the lastest Fresat/Sky providers causes a crash in older images. Once you upgrade to build 030 abm provider updates will be possible again.

mrxbox360: From what Huevos says, we should be able to update providers once OpenVIX 2.4.30 has been released and boxes have been upgraded to that version.
