Hi

I have purchased the ultimo 4k and flashed with openvix Image. When I try to set it on 2160p resolution it will not output. It works fine on 1080p setting though. My wetek play2 android box outputs to my TV at 4k fine so I assume it's not my TV. Is there something I should be setting or do you think there could be an issue with my receiver/the image

Will most likely be your TV. What 4K TV do you have?

The HDMI port on your TV will be limited to 4k@30hz which is why the wetek will work, the ouptut of the Ultimo is 4K@50HZ or 60HZ.
Check your TV manual to see if you have a fully capable HDMI port, some TV's just have one, some unfortunately have none.

My TV is a panasonic TX-55AX902B but cant find manual. I would think it should be compatable based on cost of it though. Although now an out of date model it was top of range when released a couple of years ago. Also the wetek seems to work on my tv if it is set to output on anything from 30-60hz so would also indicate my tv is ok?

I'll see if I can download a manual from panasonic website to try to confirm

Try all the HDMI ports, if non work, your TV won't be compatible unfortunately.

Try HDMI 1 or 2 input on your TV ... then go to SET-UP Menus on TV ... if you have HDMI Auto Setting Option change it to MODE 1

Hope that helps?

Just checked the manual I downloaded and it states that all hdmi ports and the displayport are compatible with 24,25,30,50 & 60hz so I guess it shouldn't be my tv?

It does also state though:

"the above signals are reformatted for optimum viewing on your display"

Mode 1 seems to have done the trick  What does this setting change to have it working now?

Thanks to all that have responded with assistance

Glad you have it working, didn't want to muddy the waters with talk of HDCP 2.2 unless needed.
