Hi

I have recently purchased a vu ultimo 4k and am having some issues setting up OSCAM. I do have it working but the picture freezes quite often and when I change channel, it can take up to 30 seconds before the channel clears (FTA channels are fine). I was previously using MGCAMD (on the ET10000) and had no issues at all. I can only think that it is my setting that are slightly wrong. This is for cable as dont use sat.

Here are my settings:

Would someone please be able to check these to see if there is anything obvious that I need to change/delete/add.

Thanks

First take the readers off from oscam.conf. You only need those in oscam.server.

Ok thanks. Does that mean all my other settings are ok?

The best idea is to get it going then ask any specific questions about what is working and what isn't working.

Your friend is the webif. Bring that up on your PC or tablet and you can see what is happening - it shows you if your cards are starting up correctly.

Also don't ask anything about the readers you have set up - that is outside forum rules.

Thanks. I really just wanted to know that the other setting were ok (apart from readers) just so I can pin point what the problem may be. I can only imagine it a settings issue as it is working, just glitchy. If anyone can just confirm they are ok or need adjusting, that would be great. Thanks

You need to provide more information about what channels are glitching. If they are channels related to the readers you have set up no one can help.

If the channel is being decrypted by your own card you can copy the log line in your webif to show what is happening. Here is an example of a line that is working correctly with no glitchs.
