Hi All

Just asking the question, has anybody managed to multi-boot the Ultimo4k, I know its a new receiver but I would like to give it a bash but I'm not sure how to go about it
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you can use Openmultiboot that is in OpenViX feeds.

You need to have a usb drive permanently attached with your images saved too i believe.

Or use internal HDD. I have PTS enabled anyway, so runs fine.

Go to plugins. Download openmultiboot from extensions. Put new image in folder "open-multiboot-upload". In plugins menu select openmultiboot and install the second image.

It works nicely on my solo2 using the hdd. I would imagine an ssd drive might be better in the long term.

Hi All

thanks for your advise so far, I am still struggling to achieve a multiboot system.

not sure about whether I should be using the USB image or whether I need to get an image elsewhere, if so do I need to install the USB image and back it up and then use the backed up image?, please forgive my ignorance
