View Full Version : Linux or android for new instal?
I've been running 2 VU+ linux receivers for years and they've been great, but my fiance now wants to update her tv etc.
She has a sat. feed and BB/wifi beside the tv, but it's only c.5mbs.
What would suit best would be a simple receiver or box (she's not technically minded and I live a good distance away) that auto updates and requires minimal manual input.
Any suggestions?
Stick with a linux Enigma 2 receiver.
Opinions on this one? Looks decent and comes witha twin tuner and hdd fitted. Good value?

That's ancient. Buy something newer and more powerful.

What are your tuner requirements and what sort of budget do you have in mind?

Twin tuners I think and a hdd to record and pause/rewind live tv.
Budget is pretty tight unfortunately.
Is this one better? http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/technomate-tm-nano-se-m2-plus-twin-satellite
